Brief Description of WorkSupport Contracts department to maintain seamless operationWork with program and project managers to develop the organization''s budget IAW ContractsReview managers'' budget proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with laws and other regulationsCombine all the program and department budgets together into a consolidated organizational budget and review all funding requests for meritExplain their recommendations for funding requests to PresidentHelp leadership analyze proposed plans and find alternatives if the projected results are unsatisfactoryMonitor organizational spending to ensure that it is within budget and conforms to contract languageEstimate future financial needsSpecific DutiesPrepares and reviews purchase requisitions/purchase orders for accuracy and completenessEnter purchase requisitions/purchase orders into Cost PointLiaison between employees or customer personnel and vendors to answer questions and resolve problemsMaintain files and records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveriesReviews invoices from suppliers for conformance to purchase ordersSupport/report directly to the Corporate Vice President of ContractsParticipates in special projects as requiredMaintain databases to support contracts and subcontracts including agreements, proposals, small business and government propertyKeep the database current, with the information provided, and able to effectively retrieve information and run reportsQualificationsPosition requires US citizenship and a national Secret Clearance (preferred)Detailed-oriented with high degree of accuracyStrong organizational and time management skills requiredAbility to handle multiple priorities with minimum supervisionAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with suppliers and all levels staff and managementMust have Purchasing experience of 1-2 yearsEducationBachelor''s degree in either accounting, finance or businessSkills RequiredAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsDetail orientedMath skillsProficient in Deltek Cost Point and certain software, including spreadsheets, database functions, and financial analysis programsAbility to track budget expenses and reporting skillsStrategic Planning and experienced with Microsoft Office productsby Jobble
