Serve as Operations and Maintenance Manager for Cloud Environments. This is an opportunity to create an environment from scratch. Develop plans, procedures, and infrastructure related but not limited to: Windows Update Management SQL Server Backups Virtual Machine Backups AWS RDS Backups Active Directory Administration Certificate Management IA Compliance Disaster Recovery (COOP) Planning, Testing and Implementation Provide engineering support to maintain, and trouble shoot a production AWS environment. Working with a configuration manager oversee complete configuration management (CM) of all PHIMS Documentation and technical items for the AWS environments. Apart from working on a broad spectrum of technical issues, the Systems Engineer may also coach/mentor new hires, develop & present training, partner with development teams on complex issues or contact deflection initiatives, participate in new hiring, write tools/script to help the team, or work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives. A suitable candidate would be extremely customer focused, who could multi-task and utilize both written & verbal communication skills to help resolve complex technical issues. Role and responsibilities will include Field technical support inquiries about the AWS Environments. Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance. Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, detailed prelaunch planning. Make recommendations about how AWS offerings fit in PHIMS architecture. The right person will be highly technical, analytical, and have experience managing technical teams. In addition, this person will have a record of driving projects to improve support-related processes and the technical support experience and be passionate about the success of PHIMS.
