The successful candidate will support the adoption of evolving cloud environments(ex: AWS, Azure, etc.), as well as support developers and application ownerswith their adoption and implementation of cloud technologies. A background in project management isrequired as the successful candidate analyzes program cost, schedule, andperformance attributes to formulate strategic courses of actions forstakeholder consideration. Strongrelationship building skills are needed as the successful candidate willrepresent the customer's strategic goals in working groups, when assessingevolving program requests, and shepherding technology deployments throughconfiguration change management processes. DESCRIPTIONOF DUTIES:The successful applicant will leveragetheir knowledge of cloud technologies to establish themselves as a strategic SubjectMatter Expert (SME) who provides: Coordination with stakeholders todetermine their processing and storage needs;Capture and communication of majorconfiguration changes (ex: new capabilities, capacity increases, etc.) withinRequest for Change (RFC) documents for change management tracking;Evaluations of customer requests toidentify impacts to the cloud program office;Technical assessments of customerplans to evaluate their Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews (PDR/CDR) productsto ensure design implementations align with the customer's operational needsand goals;Database capacity utilizationoversight and assesses the system's ability meet evolving customer needs (ie,capacity verse demand management);Development and coordination ofartifacts to serve as the technical requirements for Statements of Work (SOWs)in support of vendor implemented database updates;Readiness oversight of vendor TaskOrder (TO) implementations that fulfill technical requirements and SOWs;Technical evaluation of vendor TO deliveries (ie, cost, schedule, and performance analysis), and offersrecommendations for improvement, recovery, or remedyQualifications Clearance required to start: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
