Jenkins, Selenium, Robo Framework Vendor is partnered with the world's largest hospitality company in their search for a Deployment Project Manager to join their team in Bethesda, MD. This is remote now but will be onsite Mon-Fri once COVID restrictions are lifted From the Manager -Must have - Strong organization, project management, and leadership skills to drive issues to resolution are a must have. Must be able to communicate effectively with executives and prepare executive status reporting, metrics and dashboards. -Experience managing large global projects -Should have some type of Opera knowledge (donrsquot need in-depth product knowledge) experience managing any PMS deployment will be huge. REQUIRED SKILLS -7+ yearsrsquo experience in information technology project management across diverse application areas and technologies -4+ yearsrsquo experience in leading project teams and implementing enterprise application packages in distributed environments -Experience with deployments (infrastructure, network, data center, security) -Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certification NICE TO HAVE SKILLS -Graduate degree -Project Management Certification -Demonstrated record of managing internal and external projects from inception to successful implementation -Solid understanding of current technologies with the ability to develop and deliver projects using leading edge technologies -Ability to align change management strategies with project -Skilled in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presentingselling them to senior management -Highly developed oral and written communication skills -Extremely high level of analytical ability to resolve complex and difficult issues -Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output in a team environment -Ability to work independently with minimal direction from Product Team. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES -Establish and manage Opera 5.6 PMS deployment technical readiness plan. -HQ infrastructure, network, connectivity, data-center hosting, security tasks as required -Centrally contracted deployment support vendor onboarding, vendor deployment readiness tasks as required -Identify, establish plan for, and manage dependencies with external products programs related to Opera 5.6 deployment. -Coordinate with Product Team to ensure appropriate deployment-related documentation is delivered, as required. -Technical guides -Property HW and SW specifications, and any other property level technical requirements for Product -Installationtraining guides -In conjunction with Continent Deployment Managers, define and operationalize product deploymentcutover process. -In conjunction with Continent Deployment Managers , define and operationalize support model during deployment cutover, and during post deployment stabilization period. -Deployment support model with RACI and stabilization support model with RACI -Deployment stabilization resource requirements across L1, L1.5, L2, L3 teams and staffing model -Define and operationalize deploymentcutover and post deployment product issue tracking, triage for resolution, and escalation process across teams -Define and operationalize deployment support tool(s) readiness and configuration across teams as required - eg SNOW forms, queues, routing rules, issue dashboards, drill-downs etc. eg Remote Access, Monitoring, Logging tools, eg BPA, Splunk -Define and operationalize Software version management model and tools for the deployment phase, if required -Function as the focal IT POC for managing the deployment phase. -Coordinate across Product, Business, GO and Continent teams as required o Liaison back to Product team -Manage escalations -Facilitate issue prioritization across Continents, provide consolidated deployment reporting and metrics across continents. -Lead Deployment Issue Management Process - daily deployment standup, triaging for resolution, prioritizing and executive reporting. Track and report deployment progress and metrics across Continents.
