Senior Associate, HR GeneralistHITT Contracting is seeking an HR Generalist to assist with the day-to-day operations of Human Resources needs. The ideal candidate will have high levels of motivation, strong organization skills and be influential in achieving operational excellence. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, policy implementation, HR reporting, and employee programming. This position serves as a shared service between many teams within the HR department, but reports directly to the HR Manager.ResponsibilitiesActs as the first line of support to team members for HR-related inquiriesProcesses status changes and documentation related to the employee life cycle (ie offer letters, internal transfers and offboarding documentation)Leads thorough and objective investigations as needed, assess risk and determine appropriate course of action, working closely with the HR leadership and legal as appropriateConducts feedback sessions with team members to include stay and exit interviews and provides subsequent reportsProvides support to HITT's Futures Program to include career fair planning, phone screening, and interview schedulingAssists in preparation and execution of HITT's Internship and/or Externship programsDeliver Recruitment-wide administrative support on an as-needed basis to ensure a quality candidate experience companywideAssists in the creation, implementation, and upkeep of best practices, policies and initiatives to include employee programmingPrepares quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics and KPIsSupports broader HR projects as neededMaintains confidentiality and professionalism at all timesQualificationsBachelor's degree required2-3 years of directly related generalist-related experience is required to include recruiting and employee relationsKnowledge of fundamental HR principles and practicesProficient in HR and legal compliance such as FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPossesses strong business acumenExceptional interpersonal skills and experience building relationships internally and externallyPossesses a strong business acumen and excellent conflict resolution skillsKeen attention to detail with ability to track and manage multiple projects at one timeAbility to exercise discretion in handling confidential informationEagerness to integrate into a family-oriented, entrepreneurial, and highly demanding work environmentHITT Contracting Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
