Job Description Business Group Highlights Defense The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: * Establishing, integrating, testing, validating, and maintaining Engineering Development Models (EDMs) and prototypes for all systems used for signature evaluation and modeling. * Candidate will physically and electrically integrate workstation, server, storage, and networking hardware; load Windows and Linux operating systems; load and test development environments; verify performance of the EDMs; maintain the hardware and operating systems of the EDMS; and mitigate Information Assurance issues as directed. * The candidate shall also conduct hardware preventive maintenance, hardware repair, parts sparing, parts inventorying, and shipping to support delivered and development systems. Qualifications Requires 8 to 10 years of experience with BS/BA in Engineering or Computer Science. Candidates must have experience in workstation, server, storage, and network hardware setup and configuration for Windows and Linux operating systems.
