Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) is currently seeking a Principal Cyber Engineer to be a key contributor in the implementation of cyber engineering. This is a lead position that will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of the development program including: CONOPs development, requirements development, architecture, design, integration, test, certification, and continuous monitoring of products. This position also provides opportunity to support ongoing business process activities, such as: metrics collection and analysis, program tailoring, new business, and process documentation updates and deployment.Qualified applicants must be a US Citizen, will be subject to a security investigation, and must be able to obtain a DOD Common Access Card (CAC) and pass a national agency check. Typical Responsibilities:Lead a moderate sized cyber teamManage cyber planning and objectives across multiple program segmentsManages prioritization of program cyber objectives and commitmentsTranslates program vision into executable guidanceDirects team and aggregate resourcesDevelops cyber skills matrices and cyber staff development plans Liaisons with customer as primary Cyber point of contactDevelops high-level program presentationsWorks closely with IPT managementAuthority on scheduling cyber tasking (JIRA)Deconflict scheduling contentionMust be able to coordinate collaboratively across traditional engineering disciplines, with management and with customers Required Skills: Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience in cyber security Previous experience leading a cyber teamDirect experience with cyber A&A activitiesApplication of common FOSS and COTS tools for system scanning, exploit detection, etc.Integration of cyber mission capabilities within an operational mission system as a means to incorporate cyber operations within a larger mission contextExperience performing risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and security assessmentsExperience establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of the organization, including Government customer, IPT leadership, and support organizationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills A cents € " position will involve the development of white papers and presentations as part of new business activitiesAble to obtain a TS/SCI Desired Skills: Experience with agile team managementFamiliarity with cyber mission planning, to include applications of JP 5.0 and JP 3.0 to cyber planning and operationsDevelopment of operational architectures to implement dynamic defense capabilitiesFamiliarity with DODAF architecture conceptsAnalysis of IT systems to identify, assess, and design security featuresCreation of network diagramsExperience with two-factor authentication, network surveillance technology, intrusion detection, endpoint protection, data leakage protection, and encryption solutions and systems Education Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline174024Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
