Summary

This position is located in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Management (ASM), Office of CARES Operations (OCO), Office of Recipient Monitoring and Remediation. The purpose of OCO is to provide compliance monitoring, asset management, audit and risk management, reporting, and internal controls related to financial assistance provided by the Treasury under CARES.

Responsibilities

As a Supervisory Compliance Analyst, you will:
- Ensure recipient compliance with the requirements of the CARES Act and Treasury agreements. Monitor recipient compliance on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to remediate non-compliant situations. This includes day-to-day management of the quarterly automated compliance testing process.
- Work closely with the Assistant Director, Recipient Monitoring and Remediation in determining the scope of and approach to quarterly testing to be performed by the Compliance team.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Compliance analysts including monitoring and reporting on compliance and coordinating with Remediation analysts on remediation of non-compliant and special situations.
- Develop expertise in CARES Act requirements for all recipients under CARES Act sections 4112 and 4003.
- Communicate with recipients as needed to support compliance and remediation of non-compliance.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience for the GS-15: You must have one year of specialized experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is one year experience at the GS14 level monitoring and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations imposed on individuals and businesses whom receive federal grant, act or loan funding and facilitating the remediation for non-compliance.

Some examples of this experience may include:
- Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Reporting program level information to senior management on the status of compliance efforts.
- Planning and conducting compliance tests, identifying non-compliant situations and implementing remediation.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
