Responsibilities

As Management and Program Analyst (Budget and COR) Management and Program Analyst (Budget and COR) you will perform the following duties:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and technical expert for a variety of functions and activities requiring the application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessment of management and financial processes, and mission support programs.
  • Perform as the COR (Contracting Officer's Representative) for program contracts.
  • Ensure objective, accurate, concise and timely information is available to management and policy officials through briefings and presentations.
  • Maintain the complex databases, registers, and other accounting/tracking systems that are regularly used, including FFMS, WebView, and PRISM.
  • Monitor contractor's compliance with contract terms, conditions, and specifications.

  • Probationary Period: This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). Upon appointment to this position, you may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.


Qualifications

You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
  • Developing improvement goals and objectives, measurement criteria, and strategies for effecting improvements.
  • Conducting self-assessment results of past achievements.
  • Planning, conduct, and/or participate in special studies or task forces with team members to provide advice and assistance to managers.
  • Developing and evaluate policies in assigned program areas.
  • Analyzing documents, justifies, and recommends proposal changes to the CO for consideration.
