This person also is self-motivated, demonstrates interpersonal skills, can communicate effectively, is proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint), and is excited to engage in activities to continuously improve and develop professionally.Qualifications- BA degree (Business, Finance, or Economics degree); Master's degree or MBA a plus- 4-6 years of related work experience- Experience reviewing financial metrics to evaluate a company's financial health and stability- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (including listening, written and oral communication), work well in a team environment, able to work in diverse environments, and adhere to highest ethical standards- Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, automation, and improving processes- Experience providing detailed analytics and summary reporting of key metrics- Ability to parse contractual and policy documentation quickly and effectively- Applies critical thinking and professional judgement to determine supplier risks and appropriate actions to mitigate associated risks- Capable of analyzing information and building executive dashboards with visualizations that summarize key metrics and insights-Analytical mindset and determined to solve problems by developing creative solutions- Ability to lead, influence, collaborate, and partner with ESC leaders, business partners, and suppliers to achieve desired business outcomes.- Able to work in a remote environment, as neededlocation: Mc Lean, Virginiajob type: Contractsalary: $35.99 - 37.50 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories:Organizational Skills- Conduct supplier due diligence activities prior to contract award and periodically thereafter to determine specific risks presented by each supplier and conduct necessary investigations after reviewing evaluation results in the financial, reputational, governance, and regulatory risk domains- Develop summary risk packages by deriving insights from evaluation results, analyzing these metrics to benchmark the results across their respective category, and distilling feedback to extract and summarize the most critical information at an executive summary level- Evaluate supplier inherent threats and utilize advanced analytical skills to create, review, and evaluate key risk indicators, including historical trends and performance Communication Skills- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and have excellent ability to encourage, motivate, negotiate, and drive issues to closure- Business writing capability to summary key insights, trends, and provide substantive recommendations that drive better-informed decision making for our stakeholders- Customer service skills that enable successful outcomes from all perspectives- Manage challenging stakeholders and suppliers with professionalism- Empowered to make sound business decisions and ability to influence others to gain better business outcomes- Ability to work with diverse teams and prioritize tasks- Attention to Detail- Root cause analysis skills to gather, monitor, analyze, and provide summary level detail on supplier risk that supports financial posture and reputational ranking information that is disseminated to our stakeholders- Able to juggle competing priorities to drive successful outcomes, adapting quickly in an agile environment that's continuously evolving and changing- Highly organized to maintain, review, and validate supplier evaluations to provide a holistic picture of the risks posed by engaging 3rd party suppliers- Effective prioritization by balancing detail with response time to ensure we are meeting both quality and timing commitments- Create, analyze, and coordinate the reporting of supplier evaluation metrics throughout a supplier's lifecyclequalifications:+ Experience level: Experienced+ Minimum 6 years of experience+ Education: Bachelorsskills:+ Risk Management (6 years of experience is preferred)Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
