Job Description : Ensure application of sound systems engineering practices and processes throughout the system lifecycle of mission systems/applications on an enterprise contract. Participate in prioritization of system discrepancies and participate in aspects of solution design, delivery, integration, testing and evaluation of operational readiness for system upgrades. Review proposed solutions and designs for technical and operational feasibility. Review and execute test procedures to verify and validate system fixes. Collaborate with users and developers to manage requirements and plan the evolution of system capabilities and architecture. Coordinate with relevant enterprise system stakeholders to ensure effective integration of software fixes and upgrades. Advocate on behalf of operational user communities for desired capabilities. Required Skills: Minimum of 6 years of hands on experience working in an operational environment performing system integration and testing activities Demonstrated knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Recent system engineering experience in an operational environment utilizing documented system engineering standards (ie, NSIS) Self-starter who is able to complete tasks with minimal intervention in an environment with adaptable priorities Experience preparing and presenting written and oral reports/briefings Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Project) Ability to travel up to 5% Current TS/SCI with Poly Desired Skills: Software development and integration Experience applying NSIS Required Education (including Major): Bachelors' Degree in a technical field and 6 years' of related experience or minimum 14 years equivalent total experience in lieu of degree This position requires a US person 173914 Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
