We are seeking a Solutions Architect for a contract to hire position with our client in Ashburn, VA. The Solutions Architect will work with Product Management, Business Analysis and in some cases customers or partners to design solutions based on the product technology. Product is a robust and scalable network that provides anonymity for internet access and private network access through multiple layers of data obfation, encryption and masking of geo-locations and identities. Responsibilities bull Able to work with others to analyze requirements and provide solutions bull Be familiar with technologies that span the ITcommunications space bull Be very familiar with SIPVoIP technologies. Knowledge of at least the basics of 4G a plus bull Able to pick up new or unfamiliar technologies quickly when requirements dictate bull Able to think 'out of the box' to come up with innovative and cost-effective solutions bull Work with product development and operations to translate solutions into designs bull Excellent written and communication skills. Proficient in PowerPoint and Visio so that presentations of solutions can be presented quickly and clearly bull Comfortable presenting to a large and diverse group (technical, sales, management, customer) bull Expand its offering across various platforms bull Participate in design meetings and reviews bull Create technical or requirement documentation Required Skills The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications bull Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills bull The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information which requires ship bull Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related degree (additional 6 years of experience in lieu of degree) bull 8 or more years of experience in software development bull 4 or more years as a Solution Architect that spans many technologies but primarily network-based bull Some experience with iOSAndroid app development bull In-depth knowledge of TCPIP, VPN operation, cellular technology, AWSAzure bull Knowledge of networking concepts bull Experience in working on Linux based OS (preferably CentOSRedHat) bull Experience with Continuous Integration and deployment automation a plus bull Experience with SSLPKI, Windows AD and MFA a plus bull Experience with different types of encryption algorithms a plus Yoh, a Day Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
