Job Description IT Consultant, Business Process Consultant Position #: 126052 The business process analyst leads process improvement engagements in administrative academic units, focused on improving enterprise operations. This includes the documentation and evaluation of existing business processes that impact multiple enterprise systems. They work individually and within a team to support leaders on campus by providing analysis and recommendations on critical project decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience with organizational change, the ability to work in a complex environment, and experience presenting recommendations to project leadership. Activities will include business requirements, facilitation, data analysis, research, and development of recommendation briefs. In addition, the business process analyst will support and advise project leadership when needed. Minimum qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 4-6 years of demonstrated process experience in industry or academic settings KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Superior analytical skills, logic and problem solving skills. - Experience with complex business systems, such as financial and HR systems. - Experience applying business process analysis and improvement methodologies. - Experiencing executing change and/or business process improvement efforts. - Demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity and ability to learn on the fly to understand and solve new problems. - Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written in a manner which is clear, logical and consistent. - Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. - Ability to effectively work as a team and independently. Preferences - Masters degree in business, engineering, or social science - Familiarity with higher education - Familiarity with organizational development - Experience working on ERP projects Additional information: this position does not provide sponsorship for visas. Physical demands: occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines. Sitting for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers required to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and to handle other computer components. Walking to partner and customer offices.
