**Description: Maintain organized files for each assigned project.* Assemble submittal packages and deliver to customers.* Determine most economical configuration of precast structures or systems to meet project specific requirements.* Document correspondence used to support product configuration decisions.* Use proprietary and commercial software to create production drawings for components produced at multiple production facilities.* Use basic manual drafting practices to create new or enhance existing drawings for items outside the scope of computer aided tools.* Coordinate with Sales and Project Coordinators to assure correct products and services are configured.* Coordinate with Schedulers and Dispatchers to assure timely production and delivery.* Support production through drawing interpretation and clear communication of project requirements.* Requisition services and/or materials from internal and external resources as necessary to assemble submittals, complete production details, and fulfill order requirements.**Skills:**Autocad, Design, Drafting, communication, blueprint interpretation, production drawings, submittal packages**Top Skills Details:**- candidate must demonstrate a very strong drive and desire for growth- ability to read civil blueprints and interpret relevant specifications- strong communication skills, this candidate must be able to deal with customers via email and phone in a pleasant manner- candidate must be able to learn and understand concepts -- strong aptitude for math**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**TYPICAL DAY:- taking civil engineering drawings and interpreting the plans into production drawings- producing takeoffs- generating submittals- doing some manual drafting- may work in Inventor for some design work/ 3D modeling- will be doing some customer interfacing- will work on lots of quick turnaround projects- multitasking and juggling multiple projects at onceTRAINING:- Will be trained in autocad / drafting- Will be trained in their proprietary drafting softwareMust Haves:- 5 to ten years of experience ideal, grind it out, supporting customers and having that expereince.- always under the gun, customers are organized for that. Good at either CAD or Inventor.
