Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in collaboration with a steadily growing mortgage lender client, is searching for a proactive Bi-Lingual Compliance Officer. The Officer will report to the President and Board of Directors. They will provide compliance-related guidance for products/ services, new initiatives, complaints and resolve related issues.   • Assist with all aspects of the overall management of the compliance department
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures that define organization processes and demonstrate adherence with state and federal laws and regulations
  • Develop and execute audit plans in accordance with Internal Audit standards, relevant government regulations and organizational policies
  • Track and respond to consumer concerns and complaints
  • Act as the Point for contact for external agencies; Prepare written responses to agency, state and federal examinations
  • Prepare and potentially present reports to management regarding status of compliance testing in areas of compliance focus
  • Keep up-to-date on changes in federal and state compliance laws and regulations
  • Develop, distribute, and lead compliance trainings and address all compliance related issues

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 5+ of senior level risk management or compliance experience
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish is required
  • Possess a compliance certification or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to work with and manage offshore teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with teams
  • Strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex reports, needs and documentations
