Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Physical Therapist for our Rehab Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Acute Care Physical Therapist you will:
• Provide evaluation and treatment of our acute care patients
• Provide the best outcomes and discharge recommendations.
• Work in a fast paced Acute care hospital with Total Joint Center of Excellence, Primary Stroke Center and growing Brain and Spine program.

Qualifications include:
• BS/MS/DPT from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland license required and certification for PT.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Acute Care experience required

Work Schedule:

This is a Per Diem position for weekday evenings
  • Serve our elective total joints and elective spine surgical patients on the day of surgery.
  • Shift can start at 5 or 6 pm and ends at approximately 9 (it is volume driven and we evaluate all patients that are cleared for PT by 8 pm).
  • Approximately 1-2 evening shifts per week

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue. In order to promote and maintain a healthy work environment, Adventist HealthCare will not hire applicants for employment who either state that they are nicotine users or who test positive for nicotine and drug use.

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
