Ref ID: 04530- 396 Classification: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Compensation: $140000.00 to $155000.00 yearly US headquarters of a global Technology company is relocating their Finance team to northern VA and seeking a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will report to the VP of Finance and play a critical role in building the infrastructure for their growing government contracting business as they build towards an IPO. They are a distributed company leveraging the latest technologies to deliver world-class products in the private and public sectors of finance, telecom, identity, security, retail, sports entertainment, commercial, government, and IoT. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial integrity and contractual obligations of the North American Operations organization along with serving as a business partner with line leadership to enable key process improvements and business growth initiatives. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for working closely with the Chief Operating Office and the Operations Leadership to provide financial insight and reporting on the performance of the organization. Ensure the Operations team fulfills all obligations in a timely and economic manner in accordance with the Company s policies and goals. This position will manage project accounting for the Operations team and will also provide reports for both internal and external audit requests. The primary responsibilities of this position are to manage financial related matters of the business line from pre-contract to execution, forecast activity on a monthly basis and report actual performance. This position will interact on a regular basis with executive leaders of the organization. Essential Job Functions (includes But Is Not Limited To) Prepare analysis and commentary for monthly reporting packages and executive meetings and work with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure solid understanding of all financial aspects of the business. Prepare monthly cost and allocation forecasts and work with the Operations team to make sure we are driving the results. Manage risks and opportunities and drive accountability for the actions required to achieve results. Lead the annual planning/budgeting process. Review and approve expenses and other cost controls in accordance with IFRS. Collaborate across all areas of the business in order to improve efficiency and drive results; including but not limited to manufacturing, customer service, supply chain, real estate, procurement and quality. Work directly and regularly with the COO, CEO, CFO and other business unit Controllers. Support business initiatives by modeling financials outcomes, including but not limited to, capital investments and facilities scenarios. Job Requirements: - 10+ years of financial (FP&A and Program Finance) leadership in the GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING sector - Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance - Thorough knowledge and expertise in DIRECT and INDIRECT costs in a government contracting environment - Excellent problem solving skills - Advanced Excel skills to include Pivot Tables, Index/Match, H Lookup, V Lookup, Goal Seek, If function - GL Analytical skills - History of thriving in a role that requires multi-tasking - Outstanding customer service skills, attitude and interpersonal skills Strongly Preferred: - Additional education or certifications (ie MBA, CFA or CPA) - Understanding of KPI and metrics in a Manufacturing environment - Proficiency with Adaptive Insights, TM1, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Anaplan - Experience in a Large Publicly Traded Government Contractor Please submit your resume for consideration to Lee Chernett, AVP at Robert Half Finance & Accounting, to @roberthalf.com.
