We are a scaling SaaS business growing at a rapid rate. And as part of this growth, we have an open vacancy for a VP of Sales to be part of our talented team. Joining our team will allow you to work with some of the largest companies in the world and shape the next generation of our product platform. About the Role We seek an individual with proven success in building and leading B2B sales teams, selling to mid-large size organizations. And have demonstrated they can grow and nurture high performing sales teams. We want to hear from you if you have 5+ years experience leading a team, selling SaaS, or on-premise software products. The primary objective is to lead and drive the government contracting sales team to achieve business growth. We plan to continue to achieve 100% YoY growth over the coming years. Job Details Empower and coach a team of Account Execs to build credible pipeline and hit their quotas every quarter Coaching the team on how to sell value in a consultative oriented sale cycle 100% Data-Driven with the ability to use the insights to drive future decisions Set and manage quotas for the sales team, reporting on them monthly to the Executive Team Holding each Account Executive responsible for meeting their quotas Work with the Sales Development and Marketing Team to manage the end to end cycle from Lead Generation to bookings Work with Marketing and Sales Development to devise a strategy to grow your team s pipeline Manage sales and pricing strategy using data to support decisions Work with the Account Execs to lead and expand Key Accounts Represent the Company at trade shows and events to promote product sales Support / contribute to a culture that is consistent with the overall organization and emphasizes the values of the Company Sales Philosophy Driven to identify new business opportunities Does not believe that any sale is a good sale willing to say no to sales if it s not a fit or not strategic Sell Value, not Product. Map how we can help to clear $ value in terms of efficiency gains and improved customer outcomes (eg, increasing their win rates) Develop and maintain relationships with Key Named Accounts at Executive level and with strategic decision-makers Own the number mentality build and manage the Company s sales plan, defining the opportunities and focusing the organization on achieving them Carry the bag mentality willingness to get in a car, hop on a plane any time and as much as necessary to grow our brand Required Experience and characteristics Bachelor s Degree. Minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience in a SaaS environment Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and empowering a team of high performing account execs Has been in a similar role in an organization that has grown from $20m+ Has been in a startup, early growth stage SaaS business Experience managing, optimizing, and reporting against an annual trade spend budget Hands-on direct management of internal sales and external partners Demonstrated success in building a brand Experience in hiring, managing, and holding sales forces accountable for profitable results Ability to develop sales systems, sales planning tools, and sales management tools Comfortable with financial statements and sales forecasting process Proven success working hand-in-hand with Marketing to drive sustainable brand growth Effective at building strong cross-functional relationships and assuming shared leadership Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level Consistently displays a positive, cooperative, self-motivated, and professional attitude Existing relationships with key Accounts Strong team leadership and management skills demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and maintain high performers Must be willing to travel up as needed
