Systems Architect Rockville Maryland Responsibilities Lead and guide the development of a complex data integration system so that it becomes the engine of a healthcare-wide transition to value-based care. Provide innovative technical solutions to business problems in the pursuit of sharing data, developing analytical products and building a compliant system that safeguards sensitive information Provide hands on software development for a big data project, hosted in a cloud environment. Develop a solid understanding of the vision of the project and ensure it fits into the larger goals for the government client Enforce high-quality coding standards and practices via reviews and by demonstrating this in their own work. Mentor engineering teams and work efficiently and proactively to enable a large enterprise program to deliver loosely coupled, adaptable, scalable solutions.Qualifications Qualifications 7+ years' experience Prefer experience with CMS, other HHS agencies, GovCon experience Experience with healthcare measures a strong benefit Expertise with one or more high-level software languages (eg Java, Java Script, Python, SQL, Django). Python and Java standard requirements. Experience with cloud infrastructure (eg Amazon Web Services - EC2, EBS, RedShift, EMR, ELB, SNS, RDS, CloudFormation, etc) Experience with big data processing frameworks (eg Databricks, Spark, MapReduce, Hadoop) Experience with DevOps and CICD tools and techniques (eg continuous integration, Jenkins, Puppet, etc) Preferred Certifications (AWS, Databricks, Spark and Agile training) Advanced degree preferred Eligible to hold a Public Trust Clearance
