Job role Avaya CM Technician Location Bethesda, MD Secret Clearance must Job description Seeking a skilled field technician capable of performing adds, moves and changes on Avaya platforms. They will be primarily responsible for adds, moves and changes activity but may also be asked to provide support in the field for resolving problems under the direction of the Lead Engineer as appropriate. They will also assist in managing the spares inventory and maintaining wiring closets. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Moves, Adds and Changes Perform some basic system programming additions and changes Provide field support to install, modify or relocate telephones System Operation Assist the Lead Engineer in providing repair and restore functions in the event of component failure Replace defective telephone sets knowledge, skills and abilities Minimum 5 years of experience with Avaya systems. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Ability to comfortably interact with customer and peers to perform required job functions Ability to work under pressure, handle a variety of work assignments at the same time, prioritize work and be held fully responsible for decisions.
