The Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) area of The School of Business at George Mason University, would like to invite you to apply for adjunct faculty positions for Spring 2021. For this announcement, we are specifically interested in candidates who can teach one or more of the following undergraduate core courses:

* MIS303 Introduction to Management Information Systems; * MIS310 Database Management System; * MIS320 Networks and Security; * MIS330 Systems Analysis and Design; * MIS412 E-business Programming; * MIS431/432 Data Mining / Advanced Data Mining for Business; * BUS210/310 Business Analytics I and II;

A full list of undergraduate courses offered by the ISOM area may be found at under the BUS, MIS and OM prefixes. These courses will be offered typically in the evening from 7:20-10:00PM.

The School of Business is pursuing three strategic directions through research, teaching, and partnerships: 1. Digital Transformation of Work; 2. Ensuring Global Futures by addressing the challenges of ensuring a livable and resilient society; and 3. Entrepreneurship and Innovation. To support these strategic initiatives, the School of Business is playing a significant role in three new university initiatives: the Institute for Digital InnovAtion (IDIA); the Institute for a Sustainable Earth (ISE); and the School of Computing.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities, in addition to teaching, include preparing course materials, student engagement, and holding regularly scheduled office hours at the Loudon campus.

Required Qualifications: * Successful applicants should have an M.S. in a related discipline or MBA, with relevant work experience; * Good citizenship and the ability to work well with colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications: * Ph.D. in Business or related discipline; * Prior teaching experience and or relevant work experience is strongly preferred.
