Aon Is Looking for a Commercial Insurance Sales / Business Development Professional Currently we have an exciting career opportunity for a Business Development Professional with Aon Affinity, Nonprofits Division. Qualified virtual candidates will be considered The Business Development Professional I duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Insurance sales and client presentations Cultivating new relationships with agents and brokers Supporting Business Unit Leaders in both strategic support and sales execution Develop strategies and tools to drive enhanced revenue realization Travel (post Covid) up to 50% within the US setting appointments with key agents Attend tradeshows and seminars Work with various senior management members in advancing both key initiatives and new business opportunities across Affinity Nonprofit Division SPECIAL SKILLS: Commercial P&C insurance experience Understanding of Not for Profit D&O insurance required Sales experience related to Management Liability, Professional Liability and Property & Casualty Demonstrated experience reviewing and explaining specific coverages to agents and brokers Strong client facing presentation and sales skills, via phone and Webex, in light of current travel restrictions related to Covid Ability to travel up to 50% within the US, post Covid travel restrictions Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills Experience working with senior level executives Strong and successful track record in sales and sales leadership MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of related commercial insurance sales experience Insurance Nonprofit market experience preferred Experience working with independent agents and brokers Property & Casualty insurance license MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor s Degree preferred, or commensurate experience We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
