Job Title: RN Med/Surg Location: Washington, DC Duration: 03+ Months (Possible Extension) Shift: Day & Night (04 Days/Week) (48 Hours/Week) (Candidate should be flexible to work in both shifts) Duties: Fulfils the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation. Completes Clientission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures 3 years plus of medical surgical experience is required. Requirement: BLS Required BSN - Highly desired DC RN License Required Med/Surg Experience - Required: 3 Years Primary Source On-Line Verification Required RN Experience - Required: 3 Years
