What does a great Senior Client Manager do? This role will be the primary contact and act as the internal owner for a portfolio of SMB Direct merchants. By growing overall customer happiness, the position will support Fiserv revenue growth through increased retention and increased product/service penetration! Responsible for client solution penetration and education, account monitoring and portfolio reporting and issue resolution ownership. The Senior Client Manager creates customized Business Review presentations which illustrate the client s financial health based on card volume vs industry as well as market trends! Individuals will manage a portfolio of accounts of the SMB Direct portfolio and will need to support clients outside of normal business hours, including weekends. As a Senior Client Manager, you can look forward to: Owning the retention and growth of a client portfolio and assures client satisfaction by maintaining overall relationship with clients. Consistently analyzing and monitoring the client s processing environment to identify and implement strategies for operational efficiency, cost savings and business management benefit. Working with top tier accounts with multi product platforms/environments to deepen the penetration of Fiserv products and services. Managing the overall incidence response process between the Client and Fiserv and is the key point of contact for researching and resolving issues, owning it until resolved. Facilitating the Client training process as it relates to platform applications, association releases and product functionality. Maintaining accurate and up to date documentation of the client engagement and product matrix by utilizing appropriate systems and tools to supervise client interactions. Functioning as the overall Project Manager for Internal Strategic and Client specific projects and initiatives. Developing cross-functional alignment and consensus around issue resolution and establishes strong working relationship with functional partners to ensure quality delivery and support. May ensure optimum processing integrity through regular comprehensive systemic audits on client portfolios. May implement remedial actions when vital to control and eliminate client liability. May facilitate the client communication and delivery process as it relates to association releases, regulatory changes, product/platform upgrades, fee revisions and system enhancements. Participating in business reviews and/or creating client operational performance reviews. Working on complex tasks, issues and environments. Work is broad in nature, usually requiring originality or ingenuity. Decisions have a considerable impact on the end results of the business unit. Other duties as required and directed by management. Basic Qualifications for Consideration: 4 year degree or equivalent work experience. 5 + years of proven experience in sales, business development or relationship/account management experience required. Preferred Qualifications for Consideration: Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, team player with good planning and problem solving skills, who is willing to work outside of traditional service parameters. Proficient in PC Skills, particularly MS suite (PowerPoint and Excel) Must be flexible and adaptable Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction towards the achievement of personal and team goals. Analytical skills - understand industry metrics and trends. Effectively interact and connect with varying internal departments. Knowledge of payment processing; Fiserv s products, platforms, systems, and operational areas preferred.
