SEO & Content Marketing, Principal Associate
Capital One is seeking an innovative and passionate marketer to deliver breakthrough marketing experiences that elevate Spring in the marketplace. This person will drive an increase in brand awareness, new acquisitions, and monthly active users by implementing high impact paid and organic search campaigns across channels. This person will work hand in hand with the SEO & Partnerships Marketing Manager, Spring Product team, freelancers, outside agency, and internal Brand teams to drive execution of SEO & SEM campaigns.
The SEO and SEM Specialist will be responsible for bringing our SEO program to life. They will need to be able to thoughtfully execute end-to-end marketing practices - from organic keyword and competitive research, to agency and editorial briefing and creative development, through results analysis to feed the next cycle of work - to deliver impactful, bottom-line business growth.
In this role, you'll get the opportunity to:
SEO /SEM
- Incorporate SEO best practices into all marketing to improve organic rankings, traffic and registrations on Spring
- Review organic search research (keyword analysis, competitive analysis, technical, etc.) to identify relevant trends and patterns to inform on-site & off-site development
- Monitor day-to-day keyword trends and make recommendations for strategic keyword pivots
- Manage analysis on SEO platform (keywords, page ranking, etc.) and report trends, opportunities
- Define performance metrics and targets and create tracking dashboard in partnership with Insights team
- Review and provide feedback on web analytics and SEO reports to highlight business-relevant insights
- Create and manage dashboard for SEO KPIs
- Develop and monitor performance of SEM pilots
Content Strategy
- Manage marketing creative review processes in workflow management systems
- Post approved content to CMS for timely publication
- Flawlessly execute a well-managed governance process to ensure audit readiness for all marketing assets/content
- Support data analytics/insights team analysis of SEO & SEM performance
- Day-to-day management of agency partners; including building and iterating on meeting agendas, compiling takeaways and action items, communicating leadership messages to partners and handling all scheduling and logistics
- Manage workload in agile environment
- This role reports to the SEO & Partnerships Marketing Manager
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Military experience
- At least 5 years of digital or marketing work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in SEO or SEM or content marketing
- At least 2 years of experience in web analytics or keyword planning tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in agile marketing principles
- At least 2 years of experience with Brightedge Platform
- At least 3 years of experience in Brand strategy
