Senior Staff Accountant About the Company and Opportunity: * Our client is an international non-profit in the Montgomery County, Maryland area who has been in existence for over 50 years * Adding to their team, they are hiring a Senior Staff Accountant * The accounting team consists of a Director of Finance, Accounting Manager and Senior Staff Accountant * The company is known for promoting professional development * The company is looking to hire immediately Overview of the Staff Accountant role: * This Senior Staff Accountant reports directly to the Director of Finance * Responsible for AP/AR, bank and account reconciliations, month end close, financial statements, budgeting which includes preparations for their annual audit and tax returns * Position is remote with one day in the office Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant: * Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree * 1-3 years of experience * Non-profit membership association experience * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL or Solomon, iMIS or another association management experience software * Strong Excel skills * PN3 software experience
