Staffmark has an immediate opening for a Night Shift Forklift Driver in Inventory Staging at Andros in Mt. Jackson! Candidate will train on daylight for 2 weeks, 6am-2:30pm. (Includes Saturdays) After training is complete, the hours are 6pm-6:30am three days a week. Days to be determined upon completion of training. Job Summary: The Forklift Operator - Inventory Staging is responsible for providing support to the Production, Ingredient and Formulation and Warehousing teams by ensuring continuous, timely and efficient operations, minimizing production downtime due to lack of front-end supply. The incumbent will primarily utilize a forklift and an RF Scanner to move, store and maintain proper inventory of all production run supplies, including: ingredients, pouches, caps, and materials. The incumbent is accountable for safely and efficiently operating the forklift, while maintaining accurate documentation and product placement to ensure continuous and efficient manufacturing process flow. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent. 6 months prior experience operating a forklift, including both stand up and sit down lifts. Willing to complete a company provided forklift-training class. The ability to obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of placement within the position. Display willingness and openness to cross train and further gain knowledge in any areas within warehousing. Must understand the flow of goods throughout the production floor and warehouses. Ability to communicate well within multiple associate levels, from general labor to management. Ability to learn the company's warehouse management system. External Candidates: Prior experience using a Radio Frequency Scanner (RF Scanner) Ability to learn and use the Company's Radio Frequency Scanner (RF Scanner) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly. Willing to work as part of a team. Demonstrates the willingness and ability to use Process Improvement, Time and Safety Management, and Inventory Control systems to actively improve efficiencies and accuracy throughout the department. Regular and reliable attendance required. Willing to work occasional overtime, as required. Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
