SOLAR PROJECT MANAGER (FIELD/TRAVELING) - COLUMBIA, MDDelta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation's premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Solar Project Manager (Field/Traveling) in the Midwest/Northeast initial project is located in Columbia, Maryland.Solar Project Manager (Field/Traveling) - Compensation & BenefitsTotal compensation for the Solar Project Manager (Field/Traveling) is between $90,000 and $130,000 depending on experience and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance. Competitive base salary Health insurance package 401KSolar Project Manager (Field/Traveling) Duties & Responsibilities Manage company projects on time and within budget while abiding by all health, safety, quality, and legal requirements Work closely with the engineering, development, construction, and operations teams in analyzing various procurement options for projects and assure procurement activities are performed consistent with established schedules and budgets Develop and maintain contacts and relationships with subcontractors. Help with vetting, pricing and qualifying subcontractors Implement the process of measuring vendors and contractor's performance and for monitoring risk exposure Provide progress reports and other status updates to client and management as required Develop solar projects, simultaneously working with land development, permitting, business development, finance, legal, environmental, and engineering Create full project development schedules and high-level construction and interconnection schedules, to establish reasonable and achievable construction start and commercial operation dates Perform site visits on a regular basis or in a office environmentSolar Project Manager (Field/Traveling) Qualifications Strong employment stability 5-10 years of progressive experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager Project Engineer, Development Engineer or Superintendent Experience with Subcontracting industrial or large commercial electrical work Design Build experiencePreferred but Not Necessary Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline Solar experience on commercial photovoltaic systems of 1 MW or larger preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferredPlease forward your resume to Resumes@DeltaConstructionPartners.com for immediate consideration, or call (727) 822-2048 for more information.
