Description SAIC is seeking a Digital Signal Processing Systems Engineer with experience in areas such as: Digital signal processing and data collection methodsSignal processing algorithm development and analysisStochasticsControl systemsWorking knowledge of RF systemsThis position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. The following tasks are representative of those that will be accomplished at the request of the customer: Aid in and monitor the development of digital signal processing-based control systemsProvide support to launch and satellite on-orbit test as required by the customerPlan and execute internal and external interface testing to support final system verification, validation, and deliveryDevelop productive relationships with prime contractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other payload and ground system subject matter expertsSupport the customer in the oversight of the development and documentation of the specifications associated with his or her assigned areaReview complex technical design documentation and provide formal and informal feedback to the COTR, subject matter experts, and other customer personnelParticipate in requirement sell off events to ensure program successLiaise with mission analysis and acquisition teams to ensure completeness across the acquisition Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twleve (12) years or more experience Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent Experience with MATLAB or equivalent DSP development and analysis tools Available to travel domestically Desired Attributes: Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent Knowledge of SIGINT mission fundamentals Technical understanding of SIGINT architectures and the NRO's ground architectures Understanding of DOD/IC satellite systems and architectures Experience with DOD/IC acquisition and program management processes Overview SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's modernization and readiness challenges.
