As the Operations Manager of a 24/7 Watch Floor, the candidate will be expected to focus on managing all aspects of Operations. This will include developing and strengthening leadership skills in existing personnel in management roles (Team Leads, Watch Floor Managers, etc.). The Operations Manager will working with the Training Department to enhance existing and/or develop new Training Programs to grow the capabilities and skills sets of the operations team. The DPM shall also work collaboratively with the Government PM, COR and Contracting Office as a DPM. Under the guidance of the PM, the candidate shall assist in the overall management of this program and ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the program are implemented in a timely manner. The expected duties of the Operations Manager position include: * Manage Operational Activities affecting currently supported systems * Work with multiple engineering groups (Networking, Systems Administration, Software, and System Integrators) to integrate new systems into Operations * Create and update Operational Policies and provide leadership to the entire Operations Team * Develop and maintain business management policies and procedures for all program areas.\ * Coordinate program activities including, but not limited to, cost estimating and reporting; financial oversight; subcontractor management; deliverable schedule and reports; and expenditure reports * Manage and review program invoicing functions; resolve discrepant areas prior to submission to customer for payment * Ensure deliverables are prepared and submitted as required * Participate in Program Reviews with CO and Government Program Manager Qualifications * Current TS/SCI & Poly * BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent experience * 5+ Years experience in an Engineering Field * 15+ Years experience in a Management field * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues with varying levels of technical expertise * Strong expertise utilizing the Microsoft Office tool suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and Visio) SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's modernization and readiness challenges.
