Meet our professionalsCGI: An employer of choicePosition DescriptionAs a member of the Test Automation team, you will focus on developing, modifying, and executing automation and manual software test plans. Additionally, you will be analyzing and writing test standards and procedures and maintaining documentation of results. You will have the ability to work closely with Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Analysts to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing and/or improvements. Responsible for modification of existing programs, which are complex in nature.Your future duties and responsibilities* Contribute to the design, expansion, and maintenance of an automated test suite* Help define and plan scope, resource needs, benchmarks, and goals of manual and automation work* Design test plans, scenarios, and cases to exercise new functionality and identify breaking issues* Mentor younger team members on Automation concepts, methodologies, and best practices* Champion quality throughout the SDLC* Support testing ETL, .Net, Java, Web, and SOA based applications* Have knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodology (Waterfall or Interactive)* Having some level of Java or .Net development experience* Experience with testing tools like Quality Center* Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, MS-Access* Intermediate understanding and experience with Unix and Window* Experience in applying test automationRequired qualifications to be successful in this role* A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience* An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required* Experience in a software-testing role* Experience coding and executing automated test scripts in an Agile development approach* Experience testing products in multiple software browsers in a Windows environment* Experience creating, enhancing, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit* Possesses strong theoretical knowledge in software testing processes and methodologies* Experience with authoring defect reports with all required details* Experience with one or more programming languages (Java, .Net, or C#)* Experience in one or more scripting languages (preferably JavaScript and SQL)* Excellent written and oral communication skillsDesired Qualification:* Hold one or more quality-related certifications (eg ASQ CSQE, ISTQB CTFL, etc.)* Experience with mobile automation testing software desired#ISDPM#CGIFederalJobSkills* Java* C#* .NET* JavaScript* Testing Environments* JUNIT Framework* SeleniumWhat you can expect from usBuild your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
