Business Group Highlights Defense The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions. Responsibilities Cyber Mission Force (CMF) Capability Development, which includes but is not limited to: technology research, vulnerability assessment, software development, exploit development, capability integration, system test, and product maintenance as well as safeguarding the IT infrastructure against cyber-based attacks, protecting technologies and capabilities, and strengthening the overall security of IT infrastructure that is developed, integrated and/or managed by MARFORCYBER. US Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command (MARFORCYBER) requires software developers with the right skills and expertise to develop the Cyber capabilities, or tools, needed for planned Cyber Network Operations. This position is the software development expert for creation, and delivery of native software for Computer Network Operations. You will work collaboratively with peers to solve complex problems and create capabilities to defeat cyber systems. You will be presented with challenging requirements that require extreme skill, technical focus, and a can-do attitude to take on real-world problems, create solutions and transition capabilities to the operational environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Develop software for cyber operations related applications - Evaluating systems for weaknesses - Conduct automated and hands on technical testing Qualifications Requires 12-15 years with BS/BA or 10-13 years with MS/MA or 10+ years with Ph.D. Required: - Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master s degree preferred). - Preferred 6+ years of experience in software development, testing and deployment. - Preferred experience with or knowledge of the operational methodologies employed by the USCYBERCOM Cyber Mission Force (CMF) capability development teams in support of Computer Network Operations. - C/C++ development on UNIX platform, preferably Linux - Low-level operating systems experience for Android (could be Linux background) - Networking Development, and ARM Assembly/Shell Code Familiarity For Colorado Residents About Perspecta What matters to our nation, is what matters to us.
