The Opportunity Delaware North Parks & Resorts is seeking Retail Leads to join our team for the 2021 season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As Retail Worker Lead, you will direct and supervise the activities and performance of associates in your specific department. If you are assigned to the "Retail Team" based out of West Yellowstone you will not supervise activities but follow directives by the Visual Merchandising Manager. We are seeking candidates with a passion for the outdoors and guest service that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We have dorm-style housing and RV Sites available. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities for our associates. Responsibilities Ensure that merchandise is properly stocked and attractively shown. Ensuring selling space is maintained in a clean, orderly, and attractive condition. Maintain orderly back stock and work with outside vendors to maintain proper inventory. Keep co-workers on task absent of the supervisor. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience leading in a retail space is preferred. Often works in cramped spaces. Ability to use a box cutter required. Physical Requirements Long-term standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds. Consistently lifts moves, or pushes 30 lbs. Ability to use step ladder. Consistantly reaches over head. Consistantly climbs and decends stairs.
