Capture Operation VP works closely with the SVP BD to develop and manage all required business development processes, procedures and metrics/reporting. Work with the SVP BD and BL leaders to develop/refine go to market strategy. Manage the Capture, PTW, and BD analytics/reporting functions for Federal, State and Local and Commercial across North America. Performance evaluations will be based on individual and team success in: Developing, implementing and managing simple and effective business development processes, procedures, and reporting that are required to drive significant business growth (manage and refine our Business Acquisition Process) Building and managing a strong and effective capture team to drive significant business growth Serving as a player coach in the capture role and personally leading several large complex captures per year. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Developing, implementing and managing simple and effective business development processes (eg, Gate process), procedures, and reporting analytics that are required to drive significant business growth Manage and Lead the Gate process Serving as a player coach in the capture role and personally leading several large complex captures per year. Mentoring team members to ensure they each delivery outstanding service and developing annual learning plans to ensure they stay on top of their markets Work with SVP BD and Business Line leaders to develop and refine effective go to market sales strategies that leads to significant growth in new business Attain, develop and manage talent Support eh M&A process KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field 10+ years of related experience Must have hands on capture experience leading and winning large ($50M+) captures as a Capture Manager Detailed knowledge of the Federal contracting process and demonstrated working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Experience leading a capture (or related) team of at least 5 staff as direct reports Preferred Qualifications: Creative out of the box thinker who can rapidly adapt and thrive in a dynamic market A deep understanding of government buying habits, to include: Experience with US government budget, investments and acquisition processes Understanding of different contract types to include: IDIQ, BPA, CRADA, OTA, as well as CLIN structures that include FPIF, CPIF, FPAF, CPAF, FFP, FPLOE, T&M, CPFF, CR and other types
