Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for Workday Product Manager in Baltimore, MD. Primary Responsibilities: Manage ongoing enhancements to the Workday product ensuring that the functional administrators are communicating cross-functionally and testing the value and impact of proposed modifications. Facilitate the change control process using a weekly release schedule to move changes into production. Establish appropriate signoff and communication of changes based on the amount of change to the operations of the client. Track metrics on Workday usage across the client, identifying areas where usage is not optimal Engage stakeholders to understand day to day use of Workday Incorporate stakeholder input in building the product roadmap and training plans. Align business processes across the various agencies and incorporate Workday standard business process to achieve efficient operations. Oversee training content development and delivery Work through appropriate channels to ensure client s Administrative manual and policies are updated as related to Workday Processes. Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university 5 years of related experience including responsibilities in project and program management 2 years of supervisory experience including disciplining, evaluating the performance and recommending the hiring, firing, and promoting of subordinate employees and leading diverse team environment where building consensus is the culture. Managing projects in diverse subject areas with the ability to quickly climb the learning curve in new subject areas Managing software vendors and implementation service providers Job Requirements: Skills Requirement: Excellent analytical skills to understand and document business requirements. Excellent project management skills and knowledge of applicable software. Technical understanding of technological changes, challenges, and opportunities. Time management skills to prioritize day-to-day priority activities. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources including team members and other stakeholders. Ability to respond to a changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary. Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters. Ability to think analytically and conceptually in order to understand complex problems Strong knowledge and experience in project, product lifecycle management, Strong Strong understanding of budget management Working understanding of technology including applications, data management, architecture, systems integration, security and infrastructure Ability to identify issues, resolutions, risks and mitigations, and work closely with senior leaders as necessary to resolve issues/risks Ability to build rapport and relationships based on support, trust, consistency, and proven competence Strong communication, negotiation and issue-resolution skills at all levels.
