"The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for quality assurance and improvement activities in the Cellular Therapy Laboratory (CTL), a rapidly growing program with a mission of manufacturing cellular therapies as a cure for cancer and blood disorders. Those with experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, cellular therapy, stem cell or clinical laboratory preferred as well as knowledge of FDA's Good manufacturing practices (GMP) and Good Tissue Practices (GTP) or Foundation Accreditation for Cellular Therapy Product (FACT) Standards are encouraged to apply. Will specifically assist the Quality Assurance Lead in maintaining higher quality standards in cell therapy laboratory and to ensure that systems are safe, effective, appropriate, and compliant with applicable regulations and standards.

"The Quality Assurance Coordinator will perform quality analytic and improvement activities. Will specifically work with members of the researchers, quality improvement experts and community providers to perform quality and research analytics and assist in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives. Must work and think independently, be enthusiastic, self-motivated and be able to integrate activities with those of the larger team.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree - Bachelors degree in health related field (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
1 year - Must have demonstrable proficiency in MS Office Suite - particularly Microsoft Excel.
Must also have advanced database management skills, familiarity with electronic health records, quality improvement experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Functional Accountabilities

Coordinate
1. Work closely with the department and division leadership as well as other members of the team to coordinate quality analytic and improvement activities
2. Attend Quality Improvement and Meetings
3. Assist in developing a quality analytics and improvement plan to meet meaningful use quality aims and focused regional quality efforts
4. Assist in developing quality reports to document improvements in regional care delivery

Review
1. Analyze data exchange data for accuracy, efficiency , completeness, security and accessibility
2. Report on data quality to management team
3. Utilize appropriate tools to analyze and disseminate quality data
4. Work with other members of the quality improvement team to ensure a data-driven approach to all work
5. Prepare quarterly reports

Analysis
1. Analyze and prepare performance measures and outcome metrics

Quality Improvement
1. Assist management team with new quality improvement projects as they arise.
