The Graphics Designer, Journeyman will also be involved with assisting in periodic newsletters or bulletins and strategic communications briefings for communicating PD ES (mission and vision) objectives to stakeholders and industry partners.

  • Work with presentation and briefing tools or technologies to prepare leaders for conferences, meetings and briefings.
  • Create storage repository of briefings and become familiar with their content and location for rapid retrieval or reuse for different customers.
  • Catagorize briefings and presentations effectively on SharePoint for leaders to find quickly.
  • Quickly coordinate with data input providers and make corrections to slides, graphics or web content.
  • Responsible for interfacing and integrating various photos, graphs, charts, and bullet statements into coherent briefings and presentations.
  • Requires strong level of visual technology design to convey data and information efficiently to a broad audience.
  • Notify and determine next best practice steps for sites reaching storage limitations.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • 1+ years MS PowerPoint expertise
  • Active or interim secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of web-based applications and dashboards to assist with getting correct information to senior leaders.
  • Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills.
  • Ability to review data and information for populating and/or editing presentations, briefs, and papers.
  • Ability to work well individually or in a group setting.
  • Ability to work onsite or remotely.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office O365, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Preferred to have some knowledge of MS Publisher and Adobe creative tools.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance.
