Type of Requisition:PipelineClearance Level Must Currently Possess:Top SecretClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:NoneSuitability:No Suitability RequiredPublic Trust/Other Required:NoneJob Family:IntelligenceJob Description:General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an upcoming opportunity for a Sr.A' Open SourceA' Intelligence Analyst (OSINT).A' Please note:A' This position is a pipeline requisition and not fully funded by the customer; this may result in delayed responses from the GDIT recruiting team.A' Thank you for your interest and we encourage you to continue applying for positions you are interested in at GDIT.A' Scope:A' Floating supervision and support to the Junior Analyst that is available to assist when a Jr Analyst needs assistance, provide guidance on how to support a request and be available to fill in for a Jr analyst due to callouts or during peak demand.A' A' Investigative/internet analyst will leverage open source and commercial software tools to review, assess and collect data from a disparate list of open and closed web sources, including but not limited to news publications, blogs, social media platforms, paste sites, government websites, forums, onion sites.A' A' Responsibilities:A' A' Intelligence Gathering and AssessmentA' Floating supervision and support to the Junior Analyst.A' A' A' Proven ability assisting Jr Analyst as needed and provide guidance on how to support a requestA' A' Ability to fill in for a Jr analyst due to callouts or during peak demand.A' A' Analyze the data from these various sources and identify investigative opportunities and intelligence to support the many investigative programs within the USPIS to include cybercrime, narcotics, identify theft, dangerous goods, and workplace violence.A' Evaluating Internet information from social media, chats, forums, darknet, Tor network, news feeds, internet relay chats and other sources of data openly available on the Internet.A' A' Perform a prioritized assessment of the data to identify the most critical and reliable data in order toA' identify,A' bitcoins, locations, accounts, services, travels, email addresses, IP addresses and other pattern of life dataA' in an effort toA' determine physical attribution of an Internet identity.A' A' Create intelligence and investigative reports which represent the steps taken, the data sources reviewed, and the conclusions drawn from the evaluation of the Internet information.A' Data Analysis and ReportingA' Represent analysis and research results using tabular, pictorial, or graphical techniques.A' A' Deliver summary results to various levels of an organization in formats which are easy toA' understand;A' showing conclusions and relationships.A' A' A' Education:A' Bachelor's degree in an engineering, cyber or related disciplineA' Required:A' 5 years of related experience supporting intelligence operations. Experience in using cyber intelligence tools and software tools to actively search and mine the publicly available Internet and the darknet/deep webA' A' 3 years of experience as a manager assisting a team of Junior Level AssociatesA' Understanding of the "dark web" and underground cybercrime ecosystems and possess knowledge of navigating through cryptocurrency exchangesA' Experience in such visual tools as MicroStrategy, Tableau and/or i2 Analyst Notebook.A' A' Advanced understanding of the methods used by cyber-criminals to hide themselves on the Internet, how the cyber-criminals conduct online business and what are the various marketplaces and forums the cyber-criminals operate within.A' Capable to use technology solutions to actively search, analyze and prioritize the various marketplaces and cyber-criminals to identify high value targets for the USPIS investigators.A' A' A' Strong communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environmentA' Must have Top Secret ClearanceA' A' A' #OpportunityOwnedA' #GDITCareersA' #GDITLifeA' A' #WeareGDITA' A' Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Travel Required:NoneTelecommuting Options:Telecommuting Not AllowedWork Location:USA DC WashingtonAdditional Work Locations:We are GDIT.
