Commercial Real Estate - FHA Transaction Analyst

Our Multifamily Finance Team is one of the largest originators of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA loans, supported by over 200 associates and generating close to $10 billion in loan production in 2019.Capital One Healthcare is the premier provider of capital, financial solutions and related services to the global healthcare market with over 250 associates.

This position will be responsible for managing FHA transactions, both MAP and LEAN,and working with internal and external stakeholders, including borrowers, originators, underwriters, asset managers and closers to review, size, structure and manage the overall execution of FHA transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer management of transactions sourced through various existing internal and external relationships
  • Implement efficiencies to ensure transactions are executed in a timely manner
  • Manage transactions generated from Capital One existing FHA portfolio
  • Work with existing originators to pre-screen, size and structure potential FHA transactions
  • Represent Capital One and the FHA team in particular at industry events
  • Participate in the FHA underwriting and closing process to ensure that customer needs are met consistent with Capital One's and FHA's risk management philosophy and principles


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least two years of experience working in FHA underwriting or originations
  • Proficiency with Google suite or Microsoft Office products
