Summary

The Logistics Specialist will obtain and follow operational guidance from the COR via the Program Manager. The Logistics Specialist will provide cleared escort services by personally escorting, remaining physically present, and visually monitoring all activities of non-cleared personnel in approved work areas of the customer's SCIF. Access to these work areas will be identified and approved by the customer, prior to entrance. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Inform area occupants and turn on uncleared light(s) prior to leading uncleared personnel into each work area.
  • Perform visual inspection of each work area to ensure that area is sanitized prior to allowing uncleared personnel to enter and contact the AGC SO/SSO immediately if the area is not sanitized.
  • Secure each area upon completion of said work area, per AGC SO/SSO instructions, and ensure that all uncleared personnel have exited.
  • Identify the non-cleared personnel requiring escorts to approved work areas.
  • Interact effectively with the non-cleared personnel to ensure a superior level of customer service.
  • Physically escort the non-cleared personnel, in the most direct route, to the approved work area.
  • Deny access to any work area that has not been approved by the designated customer representative.
  • Always remain physically present in the approved work area with the non-cleared personnel.
  • Actively monitor the movement and activities of the non-cleared personnel to ensure no breach of security protocols occurs.
  • Immediately report any actual or suspected breach of security protocol to the designated customer representative.
  • Immediately report any accidents, injuries, or safety-related issues to the designated customer representative.
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet the customer's operational escort requirements on a routine basis.
  • Move, track, access equipment, and various hardware.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • TS/SCI clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to commit to this 6 month contract.
  • Must be observant, flexible, and service oriented.
  • Ability to engage in prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills.
  • Must have good organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity.
  • Ability to work well individually or in a group setting.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers to develop a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, and MS Project 2007 programs.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
