We are actively seeking a Geospatial Information System (GIS) Database Application Developer to provide technical expertise for web-based design, development and implementation for a Mission customer. The selected candidate will work as a part of a team of Database Engineers and Database Administrators to advance the customer s mission and objectives. Your talents, perspectives, and efforts will contribute directly to the production of valuable intelligence to facilitate positive mission outcomes. Responsibilities include: Interfacing web-based design with the Oracle relational database Communicating and defining complex requirements and system interfaces in both written and oral form Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance Five (5) or more years of extensive GIS web-based application development experience Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the GIS tools ArcIMS and ArcSDE and UNIX and NT (Advanced Server 2000) server knowledge Ability to maintain and upgrade Perl, JavaScript, HTML, and C code and an understanding of ASP (Active Server Pages) is highly desired.
