Registered Nurse - Covid 19 Contract

We have an urgent need for RNs & LPNs to work at the Department of Corrections in DC. This is a contract opportunity and RNs will earn $40/hour and LPNs will earn $35/hour

Hours:

Sat/Sun 3pm-11:30pm or 11pm-7:30am

RNs & LPNs will provide comprehensive medical care under the general direction of the Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The Staff Nurse supervises the Medical Assistant staff when indicated. He/She must be skilled in completing nursing assessments, performing routine nursing procedures such as venipunture, IV insertion, and triaging patients.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• All RNs & LPNs must have a valid unencumbered license from any state
• Current CPR card
• Current Immunizations
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation, and a 9 panel drug test.

The Dept. of Corrections will provide nurses with masks, gloves, gowns, and hand sanitizer. The position is located near the Stadium/Armory metro station in Washington, DC.
