Position Overview:

Freddie Mac's Platform and Data Solutions team is responsible for designing, building and running our next generation Cloud Platform. You will be joining a skilled team executing on our Modern Delivery strategy to move to a cloud-native architecture across the enterprise. If you like to part of transforming an organization on its journey to Cloud, being part of a team and tackling tough problems, then this is the job for you. Your work will focus on the Cloud Platform and DevOps.

Our Impact:

•Design, develop and run our Goldfield Platform in AWS and GCP

• Work with senior technical leaders and partners to come up with design and solution

•Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a solid knowledge base are essential

Your Impact:

•Work directly with System DevOps Team and Senior DevOps Architects to test system integrity

•As a senior DevOps engineer you will be responsible for Design, implement, build, deploy, configuration management, and monitor configuration standards

•Build and Test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning

•Manage CI/CD Tools within the Team

•Follow the DevOps standard methodologies established by platform team

•Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations


•Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, related field or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of experience in AWS and GCP in an Enterprise environment

•5+ years of experience in Information technology, preference for infrastructure and platform services automation

• Strong knowledge in DevOps, Cloud and Automation Tools

•Experience with scripting tools (Python, perl, Shell scripting etc) to automate routine operation tasks
