Windows Deputy Team Lead The Windows Deputy Team Lead coordinates the daily activities of Windows Team staff - communicate expectations, train, and mentor staff; address client issues; and interface with clients as needed. The Windows Team Lead is expected to be process oriented and accountable for the overall success of the Team. Additionally, the Team Lead applies current technologies to the design, development, evaluation and integration of computer information systems and networks to maintain system security. Works with commercial computer product vendors in the design and evaluation of state-of-the-art secure COTS applications, operating systems, networks and database products and technology. Provides security engineering and integration services to internal customers. Involved in a wide range of issues including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, network security, information security and privacy. Develops security systems for any manual or automated systems environments. Responsibilities include: * Manage Windows team consisting up to 16 employees * Communicate policies, expectations, and feedback to staff * Facilitate a high-performance team environment and employee engagement * Provide performance feedback and corrective action to direct staff * Lead activities of Windows staff to diagnose and resolve client problems * Guide and coordinate projects requiring scheduling * Provide input on process improvements and contribute to the technology road map for the strategic plan * Contribute to the development, communication and implementation of policies, procedures, best practices, recommendations, and guidelines for standards * Provide guidance and training to staff * Evaluate and provide input regarding employee performance * Maintain Windows schedule for a 24x7 365 * Other duties as assigned and required Location: Arlington, Virginia Required Skills: * Minimum clearance requirement is an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI eligibility * Must obtain DHS Suitability prior to starting work * Microsoft Windows server and client administration (Windows 2012 or Windows 2016) * Experience building Windows Servers * Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy * Experience engineering and testing of the Virtual Desktop Implementation (VDI) into a production environment. * Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloud * Knowledgeable and experience in application of STIGs to secure Windows services and applications * Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) * Backups/Restore, ePO McAfee, VMware 6.0 or higher Required Education & Years of Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related degree and a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. * A Master's degree in a related discipline may substitute for two (2) years of experience. A PhD may substitute for four (4) years of experience. * Eight (8) years of additional experience (for a total of 16 or more years) may be substituted for no degree. Desired Certification(s): Applicable Microsoft certifications (Examples: MCSE, MCSA), Security+ CE Desired Skills: * Familiarity SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 * Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 or 2016 * Altiris * SharePoint Server * Double-Take Back up Software * Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 * Venafi Certificate Management Systems 173501 Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
