HUGE growth potential Currently remote until next year - upon return to office, there will still be WFH options Work/Life Balance Salary - 80-95K based on experience WHAT YOU WILL DO: This individual will bring with them knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws, particularly tax laws related to tax-exempt organizations. The Senior Accountant will be expected to contribute to: Preparation of IRS Form 990 and related schedules for the university and its affiliates Preparation of IRS Form 990-T and related schedules (including foreign filings) for the university and its affiliates Preparation of state income tax returns and related schedules for the university and its affiliates Preparation of reports, account reconciliations, apportionment information, and journal entries as part of tax return preparation and other projects Analyzation of partnership K-1s for unrelated business income, foreign filings, and other required reporting Preparation of quarterly income tax estimates Review of state correspondence and prepare draft response letters Support international students and scholars with domestic tax matters (eg treaty facilitations and residency determinations) Preparation of financial records and workpapers associated with international tax filings Review of worker classifications Other special tax projects as assigned by the management team WHAT YOU HAVE: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field Three years of progressively responsible related work experience.
