This facility focuses on the development of novel T cell therapies targeting tumor mutations (neoantigens).In this exciting new area of cancer immunotherapy, you will assist in the commissioning and operation of a GMP warehouse and inventory management system. This opportunity, internally known as a Distribution Specialist I, will allow you to perform activities to support the manufacturing operations team, including product shipping, raw material and component receiving ensuring inventory accuracy, and timely supply of materials to manufacturing production suites to meet demand.Responsibilities of the Warehouse Materials Handling Technician Include:* Plans, oversees, and participates in the materials management operations and activities to support Production operations team and other internal customers* Handles the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activities* Receives incoming shipments of non-GMP/GMP materials and equipment following established procedures* Dispenses GMP materials to support production operations* Prepares and delivers raw materials, samples to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followed* Maintains accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materials* Performs inventory cycle counts* Performs accurate ERP transactions* Communicates inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations team and bring up when appropriate* Cross-trains in all areas of the warehouse operations* Assists in the Pick, Pack, and Shipment of finished product, materials, and equipment as required per established policies and procedures* Ensures individual employee training is up to date* Adheres to all safety procedures and GMP's requirements* Keeps warehouse operation clean and inspection ready* Ability to operate or be trained on equipment such as a forklift and an electric pallet jack* Lift, carry, push and/or pull 100 lb. of equipment or supplies* Squat, bend, kneel, climb, and/or reach for 75% of the day* Stand, walk, and/or move about for 75% of the dayRequirements:Associate's DegreeOR1+ years' experience in Materials Management and/or GMP distribution/warehouse operations with a high school degreePreferred Qualifications:* 1+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology Materials Management, GMP distribution/warehouse operations, manufacturing, and supply chain* Previous experience in Distribution and Supply Chain* Working knowledge of warehouse operations in a GMP as well as a non-GMP setting* Cold chain knowledge and experience in a pharmaceutical or medical setting* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing prioritiesDoes this sound like you?!
