PKI Architect - Active Top Secret required
Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret Suitability: DHS EOD Public Trust/Other Required: Job Family: Systems Engineering Job Description: GDIT is seeking a PKI Architect to join our team. Contract requires US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance. Job Responsibilities: Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Identify security infrastructure needs in accordance with Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) and program standards. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers. Required Skills: Experience applying general subject matter expertise and consultative support related specifically to ICAM functions, technologies, approaches, and industry direction. Knowledge of how to translate ICAM expertise into successfully resolving Tier 3 ICAM support Incidents. Experience with and advanced technical knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates and Physical Access Control Systems (PACS). Experience with and advanced technical knowledge of authentication technologies. Authentication solutions, including Windows Integrated Authentication, One-time Password and Federated Experience performing proactive federal agency level ICAM architecture planning and implementation activities. Understand the Federal PKI architecture and operational environment. Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects. Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity. Performs complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end. Oversight of complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. Performs continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup and redundancy problems. Prepares and maintains a range of documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects. May provide guidance to less-experienced Systems Engineers. Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology. May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals. Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of relevant IT/info security experience CISSP.
