Responsibilities Provide support in the fields of audit preparation, financial statement development, financial analysis, process flows, corrective action plans, general ledger accounts, standard operating procedures (SOP), contracts audit, internal controls, compliance, and property, plant, and equipment (PP&E). Provide accounting and financial analysis support to develop efficient business processes and solutions needed to obtain and sustain an unmodified financial audit opinion, maintain compliance with financial statutes and regulations, and financial reporting requirements to include the following areas: * Financial Analysis; * Internal Controls and Compliance; * Financial Statements Preparation; * Process, Policy, and Procedures; * Improper Payments Information Act Compliance; * Contracts Audit Support; and * PP&E Tracking, Valuation and Policy Support. Qualifications The following are qualifications required to be considered for this role: * An CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET security clearance and COUNTER INTELLIGENCE polygraph * A Bachelor''s degree * Degree preferred: Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field * Experience with government clients * Experience with working in teams supporting government engagements * Experience with federal financial analysis * Excellent communication skills * Excellent collaborative skills The following are desired skills/knowledge: * Master''s degree * Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field * CPA * Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) * Demostrates knowledge of Govenmental Accounting regulations and standards such as FASAB, TFM USSGL, Green/Yellow Book * Demostrates konwledge is both quantitative and qualitative problem solving techniques Additional Requirements The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
