**Description:**A manufacturer's representative of Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment. This includes a Direct Digital Control system that controls the environment for laboratories and healthcare facilities. We are presently seeking qualified controls technicians that can program, troubleshoot and integrate these systems.Field Controls TechnicianWe are seeking a highly motivated controls technician to assist in startup and servicing of critical environment airflow control systems. These systems provide safe ventilation, air quality monitoring and precise temperature control in research laboratories, educational laboratories, hospitals and clean production facilities.The systems consist of highly specialized airflow control components which control airflow through supply and exhaust air devices and are networked to a central computer. The successful candidate will be trained in the startup, checkout and troubleshooting of these systems. Startup consists of powering on the equipment, downloading software from a pre-constructed database, performing calibration based on specific project requirements and then verifying that all components are communicating and functioning properly. Checkout will be a point to point verification of the system functionality.The successful candidate will possess:Minimum 3 years Experience1) A basic understanding of electronic measurement tools (DVM etc.)2) Direct digital control panels (made by factory), control mechanical systems3) The ability to diagnose and repair Lonwork and BACnet communications network issues4) Solid computer skills in a Windows environment5) A friendly and professional manner in providing excellent customer service6) A thorough and well organized approach to their work habits7) A strong desire to learn in an ever changing technological environment8) A valid drivers license (class C), with clean driving record9) Must be a US citizen.This position is generally a Monday to Friday, 40 hour a week job although some occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Most days will be spent on job sites in our service area. Some job sites are existing buildings that are being retrofitted or require service, and some sites are buildings which are being newly constructed.**Occasional week long travel will be required to attend training seminars at our manufacturer's training centers.
