Adecco Search is currently recruiting experienced candidates for a direct hire REMOTE Residential Mortgage Underwriter, Level II for our client, a global company offering diverse services to the financial sector. This is a remote, work from home job. Candidate must have at least three years of Residential Mortgage Underwriting experience in order to qualify for this high income, remote position. You will be using your experience with mortgage underwriting problem-solving skills to perform thorough analysis of front-line wealth management residential underwriting of mortgage loans. You will partner with Loan Processors/Originators and Private Mortgage Bankers to come up with solutions for borrowers, calculations of Loan Value and Debt to Income ratios, while performing data input and analysis of findings in Encompass, Excel and other mortgage applications. You will also be responsible for assessing and reviewing borrower's credit reports, determination of liabilities, income, investment and much more! While performing the duties, you will view and have access to confidential financial data, ensure all regulatory requirements have been met when it comes to quality assurance or any change in circumstance. Our client offers a base salary and monthly bonus potential of $3-$5,000 per year, and excellent benefits package, job stability and a sign on Bonus of $5,000 minimum.Requirements for the Remote Mortgage Underwriter II job include: The ability to work from home in a virtual environment where you will need ability to do the following;Underwriting conventional loans within established SLA requirements while maintaining file quality which includes rendering credit decisions with appropriate conditions and clearing conditions on files according to guidelines.Ability to navigate multiple software programs such as Encompass, AU systems and experience with fraud tools, ie LoanSafe or Fraudguard is preferred.Perform data input and reconcile LP and DU findings to ensure data integrity and compliance with guidelines/criteria.Review and analyze credit reports to assess residential and employment histories, current liabilities, payment patterns, derogatory credit and public records to ensure profile meets guidelines.Accurately analyze complex financial documents and calculate income from various income sources, analyze residential appraisal reports, review preliminary title reports and the ability to make independent credit decisions.A self-starter who demonstrates a strong sense of urgency with great problem-solving, organization skills and ability to multi-task high volumes pipelinesAbility to follow assignments to completion with attention to detail, prioritize, ensure accuracy while maintaining a high degree of quality/compliance accuracy while meeting deadlinesAbility to effectively handle escalated issues by utilizing problem solving skillsAbility to work flexible schedules and work overtime as necessaryUtilization of multiple guideline sources to ensure compliance with agency, client requirements/limitations.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of recent residential front-line underwriting in a fast-paced mortgage environment. Experience should be from 2015 and up.Experience with automated underwriting systems (DU/LP)Bachelor's degree (B.
